Three Things I'm Thankful For

During our advisory session we made a list of things we were thankful for. These are three of the things I'm most thankful for.

1. Life- Obviously I'm glad everyday for life, even though a lot of the time it isn't always easy. The experiences and encounters that make up life are amazing and make me a better person.

2. My family- I have a truly great and loving family that is incredibly supportive. I would be absolutely lost without my family, so I'm always thankful for them.

3. Music- Music is one of the things that drives me. I'm always interested in how it's made, who made it and why. I love live music as well as it's an amazing experience when musicians are playing and it blends so well.

Third Advisory Meeting

For our third advisory meeting, we split into two groups and continued to discuss what we would have as a topic for our Public Service Announcement. Jon Jamroga was a strong advocate for the hallway walking etiquette PSA. I personally preferred the texting and driving PSA as I thought it was a more important issue, but we eventually decided to go to with the hallway walking etiquette PSA. Mr. BG agreed that hallway walking would be a good idea for a PSA, as long as it wasn't overly humorous and had a message behind it. We now have to plan how we are going to write and film this PSA for hallway walking.

Second Advisory Meeting

For our second advisory session, I met with Jon(the other one) and Travis. We discussed a possible Public Service Announcement that could air during the morning announcements. Possible topics for the PSA included advising younger students on getting their permits and driving, the dangers of texting and driving, drugs and illegal substances, and hallway walking etiquette. Texting and driving was decided to be one of the most important. We did not decide exactly what the PSA would finally be, and are still open to further suggestions.
